
Any person, firm or corporation, trade association, or professional society engaged in the sale, design, installation,
maintenance, promotion, and/or regulation of fire sprinkler systems or their components shall be eligible for membership in the
Corporation. Except for the Florida Associate Membership category, all members of the FFSA must be members of the
National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA).
ACTIVE MEMBER (CONTRACTOR). Any person, firm or corporation who holds a State of Florida license as a contractor I,II,
IV, or V for the automatic fire sprinkler industry is eligible for membership as an Active Member.
NFSA dues are based on annual sales under or over $2,000,000.
Will you be designating the National Fire Sprinkler Association, Inc. to act as your Collective Bargaining Agent with all United
Association sprinkler local unions which represent your installation employees, and agree to be bound and adhere to all such
Collective Bargaining Agreements that have been, or may be, negotiated with the aforementioned United Association sprinkler
local unions?

SUPPLIER AND MANUFACTURER (SAM) MEMBER. A Supplier and Manufacturer Member is a person, firm, or corporation
which manufacturers, sells, or distributes materials or services whose end use is intended for inclusion in fire sprinkler
systems, but is not eligible for other classes of membership.

SUBSCRIBER MEMBER. Any organization, office, or individual responsible for approving equipment, materials, installation,
or a procedure related to fire protection sprinkler system. This membership is available for fire services, code officials,
authorities having jurisdiction, and other interested parties, such as insurance loss control managers, provided they are not
eligible for any other category of membership.

PROFESSIONAL MEMBER. Any architect, engineer, and other professional who are self-employed or members of small firms
that conduct business related to fire protection
sprinkler systems. Employees of fire sprinkler contracting companies are not eligible for
Professional membership.

FLORIDA ASSOCIATE MEMBER. Individuals, firms, or corporations who manufacture or
supply the product directly related to fire sprinkler systems or installation thereof, or which provides services to the fire
sprinkler industry solely in the State of Florida are
eligible for membership as an Associate Member.
Please Note! This category of membership is only applicable to those individuals, firms, or corporations where the National
Fire Sprinkler Association does not offer membership. Therefore, those joining the Florida Fire Sprinkler Association as an
Associate Member are not considered members of the National Fire Sprinkler Association and will not have access to the
many fine programs and benefits available to its membership. Associate Membership will afford members access to all
activities of the Florida Fire Sprinkler Association including a web link on the association’s web site, opportunities to present
programs at Area Interest Meetings, exhibit at association events, and access to all FFSA meetings. The Florida Fire
Sprinkler Association reserves the right to accept or reject any application for membership.
